Elections

Mayor and Town Council Members serve four-year terms and are elected at-large. Elections are held on the first Tuesday in November in odd-numbered years. The next general election for the Chapin Town Council will be November 4, 2025.

Lexington County Election Commission oversees Chapin elections.  They work closely with the South Carolina Election Commission to ensure all voter laws are followed.  Lexington County Election Commission and work with you on absentee ballots, voter registrations, polling place information, and more.

The Chapin precinct is located at Chapin Town Hall - 157 NW Columbia Avenue, Chapin, SC 29036 for residents of the Town of Chapin.
