The SC Small Business Development Center will be providing planning tools for small businesses affected by recent closures at the VC Summer facility. These tools are designed to help small business owners assess their current financial, operational and mental preparedness for the likely economic challenges that will arise during the recovery period following the closures.
A Business Assessment Workbook and a Financial Planning Worksheet will be made available to all businesses wanting to participate in programs to sustain and grow their business through the challenging months ahead. A general training session on the tools will be held in the Community Room at Chapin Town Hall on Thursday, August 24th from 8am-10am. One-on-one consultations will be available with SC SBDC business consultants by appointment. There will be no charge for any of the services, and consultations will remain open as long as businesses need assistance.
To obtain a copy of the tools prior to the training session, please contact Earl Gregorich at earlg@sc.edu or by calling 803-777-1020. More details on future resources and events will be released as they become available.
