“Chapin Town Code requires every person engaged or intending to engage in any calling, business, occupation or profession, in whole or in part, within the limits of the Town of Chapin, SC, to pay an annual license tax for the privilege of doing business in Chapin and obtain a business license as herein provided. Each license shall be issued for one calendar year ending Dec. 31. The required license shall be paid by each business subject hereto according to the applicable rate classification on or before the 15th day of April in each year.”
If you lease commercial property in the Chapin limits or lease two or more residential units in town, you are required to have a business license for income generated annually.
