The Town of Chapin experienced a sanitary sewer overflow (SSO) due to a sewer main break off Wateroak Trail in the Timberlake area on the evening of February 13, 2023.  The Town of Chapin Utility Department is committed to the protection of the public health and safety of the community.  In accordance with SCDHEC regulations, the issue was reported in a timely manner and followed the necessary protocols.  The Town of Chapin staff worked into the early morning hours to address the leak and return service.  For additional information, please call 803-667-0958.
