Public Information Session Oct. 3
The Town of Chapin has been working with several groups including the community engagement council, small businesses and the planning commission on projects that would increase the economic vitality and quality of life for our community. Access to green space, a welcoming gateway to our community, signage to enhance the vibrancy of our town and an accessible safe, walkable town center are some of the desires we are trying to address. Funding has become a major obstacle in addressing these issues. One of the potential funding vehicles identified to create viable solutions has been a hospitality tax. We invite the public to attend our drop in public information session regarding a hospitality tax. There will be representatives to answer questions, an interactive opportunity to provide feedback and information on impacts to our community.
