Business License renewals

Just a reminder that all Chapin business licenses expire on December 31 of each year. Renewal notices have been sent out for 2017.

Businesses located within the town limits are required to have a business license as are outside businesses that conduct business within the town limits. Examples of outside firms include contractors (general, roofing, HVAC, plumbers, landscapers, sign vendors, etc.) To review the Business License ordinance, click here.

The deadline to submit your renewal without penalty is Monday, April 17, 2017. If you received a renewal notice and no longer plan to do business in Chapin, please contact us to let us know. Questions? Contact Debb Romanelli at 345-2444.

Chapin Town Hall closures

Chapin Town Hall offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26 in observance of the Christmas holidays. We will reopen at 8:30 am on Tuesday, Dec. 27. Town Hall will also be closed on Monday, January 2, for New Year's holiday.

If you have a sewer emergency, please call 605-9711. For police, call the dispatcher at 785-2521.
