Public Hearing Notices

The Chapin Town Council has scheduled a Public Hearing on the afternoon of July 22, 2021 beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Chapin Town Hall, which is located at 157 NW Columbia Ave. 

The purpose of the hearing is to consider amending the Utilities Department 2021 Schedule of Rates and Fees consistent with the water rate increase of 5.02% by the City of Columbia, Chapin’s main water supplier.

PLEASE NOTE:  COVID-19 protocols will be in place.  Social distancing will be observed and those in attendance of the meeting are encouraged to wear a face mask/covering.

Written comments will be accepted up to seven days prior to the hearing.  The public is invited to attend and public comment is encouraged.  Any person needing special accommodations to participate in the above noticed meeting should contact Town Hall the day before the meeting at 803-345-2444.
